    Hi, my name is Ellen, and I was 11 when this happenned, and I still am 11.  One day, when I walked into my room, I made my bed and I saw little whitey-yellow things. They were on my bed and then when I went to my bed, I  didn't see them at first, they just flew away. But they WERE faeries,  and I didn't believe in them until I had seen them in real life. When i go to my Dad's house, he's got a gianormous overgrown garden (because it's  a rented house) and whenever I go there I always see lots of faeries. All of  this is very much true!

    "Hello Eileen!  I never really believed in the fae until a few years ago!  I was very much the gardener; sometimes in the garden from sun-up until sundown.  I planted all types of flora and loved every minute of it. I awoke in the middle of the night once to see a purple zinnia spinning up by the ceiling  I sat up and watched it and suddenly it turned sideways.  I then realized that it had a body and that the "zinnia" was actually clothing.  As soon I realized that I was watcing a tiny creature, it shot off disappearing through the wall.  I was afraid to tell anyone because it is so bizarre but I know what I saw and believe that I was given the apparition as a gift of thanks."     "Last summer i was sitting at my computer looking up something or other on the internet. My computer is right next to the window looking into my backyard. I was happily typing when a glint of light from out side distractd me. I turned my attention outside and saw nothing but my dog sleeping on the lawn. I went back to my computer and not two seconds later was i again distracted by a flash of light. I again looked outside and scanned my backyard, I saw a small person about 6-8 inches long swoop into the grass. It had wings a little like that of a dragonfly but a little bigger and wider. it was wearing what appeared to be a long white garment. it flew in the grass anbout a foot, and then shot back up and darted away. It all happned with in about 5 seconds. I had always believed in the existence of fairies, but as i sat there it was the first time i truly believed they were real. thank u !"   sarah xoxo

      "When I was 9 years old I went fishing with my dad, we were on shore when I was chasing butterflies and that was when I saw my first Fairy. At first I thought Faries were a fairy tale until I saw this Fairy. She looked alot like the other butterflies but somewhat different, she seemed to have more thinner and more beautiful wings than the others. That wasn't the first one I saw, I have seen many in the past 5 years. There are many kinds of Fairies and I have convinced myself that I saw them so I know they are real. I don't know if I will see another Fairy in my life, but I
know now that they are really exist. I hope to see another soon but I doubt I will see a lot in a colony or what but I hope u are now convinced that they are real for it took me till the 2nd Fairy I saw to convince me they are real." - Vanessa

    "My grandmother sees little yellow creatures gathered around dandelions each spring. She says they are about 2 inches tall but she claims she can't see them for they fly away when neared. She lives in the mountains in N.C."

    "two days ago in the morning, around 5:30 i took a walk in my backyard to wake myself up. As i did i noticed i was being almost pulled toward the edge of a creek i went and i noticed a almost tropical flower at the bank and i picked it up and smelled it and tasted it (like i do everything) and it was so sweet i just ate it as i looked down towards some moss to look for another one only to see a what look to me as a dragon fly (but bigger) fluttering about four inches from the ground which is strange but i went to get a closer look and i was astounded to see that it was a human with wings stark naked with purple/lime skin with yellow wings.....what do you think?"

    "when I was about eight years old I was walking out at my Grandma's house and there was a mushroom or toadstool or something and I was going to step on it until I saw these shining thing so I sat down and looked closer and there were like 20 of these tiny glowing people and as I looked they just looked back at me then I reached out to touch one and they flew away."

    "Yea, um, its not much, but i have seen a faery. I tried to summon a faery and it didn't work very well. Or so i thought. I was trying to go to bed one night and i heard a tap on my window. Then there were a couple more and my dogs started barking. It (the faery) came in and it was so small. It looked like a skinny elf with wings.  That was my first time meeting a faerie so of course i was scared, i jumped and squealed and ran into the other room. I haven't tried to summon a faerie since....."

    "This happened back when I was 10 I'm 18 now and ever since that day I believe in fairies. Now here is my story. I used to live in the mountains up in PA, i can't tell you where, but that is where my story starts. I was just coming back from the lake with my grandparents, we had just got off the boat, it was around June 21st or 22nd i think that's when Midsummer is, i stayed back to get something from the boat, and my grandparents went up ahead of me, so i got the thing i can not remember what it was oh well, i was coming up the path and out of the corner of my eye i saw something bright shoot by, i looked but i did not see anything so i looked again, still nothing then i saw something shoot across the path in front of me so i dropped my things and chased it for i don't know maybe 2 minutes, and it disappeared right in front of my eyes. i got so scared i ran back to the path, picked up my things and ran the whole way up the path. When i got in i told my parents what had happened they just said that i was imagining it, and so that day my encounter with the fairies made me believe in fairies." -Daniele

   "As I was reading the other fairy encounters, I remember something strange that happened when I was ten years old. Where I lived, there was a forest where wild animals like deer, raccoons, armadillos, and other creatures lived. My brother and I played in there often and found a clearing where beautiful wild flowers grew every spring and bright green grass grew every summer. Everyday, we would play in that clearing until our parents called us in for dinner.
    One day, he and I went out to play, as usual, in the clearing. I believe it was a Sunday because his hair was still slicked back for church. We immediately ran to the clearing as soon as we were changed into our play clothes. He ran ahead of me and got to the clearing before I did. Then, he told me to wait in the clearing while he picked wild apples. So he disappeared into the trees as I sat down amongst the flowers. I remember picking a flower, plucking the petals, and making a pile of them in my lap. He still hadn't returned by the time I had plucked my third flower.
    When I had gotten to the center of the flower, I saw something fly out. It had bright yellow wings that were the same color of the flower. I thought it was a butterfly because that's the type of wings it had. When I chased after it, I saw it stop and look back at me. That's when I saw that it had the body of a tiny person, just like in those old paintings of fairies.
    I was very curious, so I chased after it. After a while, it disappeared in thin air. I couldn't find it anywhere, but I did find my brother by one of the wild apple trees. He was unconscious and his head was bleeding, so I used one of my socks to stop the blood (something my father had taught me). Then I called for help and waited for my parents to find us. I think that the fairy I had seen led me to my brother because the doctor said that he would've died if he lost any more blood. No one believed me when I told them how I had found him, but I didn't really care. Ever since then, I believed in fairies." -Anne
